Are you going to Prague and you still don´t know how to get from the airport to the centre of the city? Well, this is the easiest problem to solve, because there are various options to choose, from the very cheap to the very expensive ones. Let´s have a look at Prague Airport Transfer and how to use it. How to get to the city and back to the airport then?

Public transport

Although there have been many discussions about prolonging one of the metro roads to the airport or building a train connection, nothing has been realised so far. So, the only public transfer connection with the city are bus lines 100, 119 and Airport express.

-Bus 119 goes from Nádraží Veleslavín to Prague airport and it takes 15 minutes to get there. Nádraží Veleslavín is one of the metro stations on line A (green), so it´s easy to get there from the city.

-Bus 100 goes from Zličín to the airport and the route takes 18 minutes. Zličín is terminal station of metro B line.

Both, of the bus lines are part of Prague public transport system and price for one ticket is CZK 32. The ticket is valid for 90 minutes.

Airport Express is a special bus going from Praha Hlavní nádraží (main train station) to the airport. This bus is run by České dráhy (national train transfer company) and the tickets may be bought in the train station. The bus goes every 30 minutes and the ticket may be combined with standard train ticket if you ask for it. But remember, always have your ticket before you get in. It´s not possible to buy a ticket at the bus driver.

Taxi drive

This is probably the most common way to get from the airport to the city. But be careful – Prague taxi drivers are known for overpricing the rides. Sometimes they try to take advantage of the tourists and charge them with higher fee. Remember that the price of taxi is under regulation of city hall and shall not be more expensive than 27 Kč per 1 kilometer of ride. The taxi driver also must always give you a paper bill. Usual price for the ride between airport and city centre is around CZK 400. You may also place and order for taxi in advance – lot of taxi companies allows this type of service and it means that after your arrival a car will be waiting for you and will take you where you need. You will know your price in advance.

Luxury transfers

Would you like to get to the airport like a big boss? Drive Ferrari in Prague from Airport to City Centre and back. Today it isn´t impossible in Prague. And it doesn´t matter whether you want to arrive in a luxury limousine or newest model of Ferrari. The offer is wide enough for everybody to choose. Of course, you must count with higher prices, because this is completely different from classic taxi vehicles. The price usually includes full service of your personal driver who may help you with your luggage and you can also enjoy some drinks and snacks during your drive.
